Cairo, March 05 (QNA) – Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis discussed regional developments in a phone call on Thursday.

According to a statement from the Egyptian presidency, the Egyptian President affirmed Egypt’s categorical rejection of Iranian attacks on Arab countries, stressing Egypt’s full support for the security and sovereignty of fraternal nations, and the necessity of ending the war and striving toward reaching peaceful solutions that preserve the capabilities of the people and achieve stability in the region.

In turn, the Greek Prime Minister warned of the negative repercussions of the ongoing war on regional stability and the global economy.

Regarding developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, the Egyptian President stressed the need to implement the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in the Strip in all its aspects, including the entry of humanitarian aid in sufficient quantities and without obstacles, and the start of the early recovery process and the reconstruction of Gaza.
