Abu Dhabi, March 06 (QNA) – HH President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed with his Philippine counterpart, Ferdinand Marcos, regional developments in a phone call on Friday.
The Philippine President expressed his country’s condemnation of the blatant Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and several other countries in the region, affirming the Philippines’ solidarity with the UAE in all measures it takes to preserve its sovereignty, security, and the safety of its territory and citizens.
Both sides stressed the need for an immediate cessation of military escalation and prioritizing dialogue and diplomatic solutions to avoid further threats to regional and international security and stability. (QNA)
