Riyadh, March 07 (QNA) – The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced Friday evening the interception and destruction of four drones heading toward the Shaybah oil field, located in the Empty Quarter in the southeastern part of the Kingdom.
Major General Turki Al Malki, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, stated that the four drones were intercepted and destroyed before reaching their target.
Earlier in the day, the ministry reported that it had intercepted and destroyed a cruise missile east of Al Kharj, southeast of the capital Riyadh. It also announced the interception and destruction of three drones east of the Riyadh region. (QNA)
