Cairo, March 08 (QNA) – The Arab League strongly condemned on Sunday the renewed and escalating Iranian attacks targeting civilians and vital facilities in the Gulf region, saying that this reckless and unjustified escalation represents a major miscalculation that Iran must immediately reconsider.
In a statement, Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit stressed that Iran is engaging in aggression against nations by targeting vital infrastructure and civilian objectives, warning that such actions are pushing the entire region into a highly dangerous path of escalation.
He noted that he is closely monitoring developments related to the Iranian escalation, describing it as a desperate strategy against countries that did not participate in the war, adding that this approach will only deepen hostility and hatred in the region. (QNA)
