Amman, March 08 (QNA) – Jordanian Prime Minister Jafar Hassan held phone conversations with his Palestinian and Lebanese counterparts on Sunday, to discuss the serious developments taking place in the region.
During the calls, the parties affirmed their rejection of Iranian attacks on Arab countries, deeming them as a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region.
The Jordanian premier’s call with Palestinianآ Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa saw the two sides stress the need to intensify regional and international efforts to contain the tension and prevent the region from sliding into a wider conflict.
Hassan and Mustafa warned of the danger of current circumstances being exploited to impose new realities on the ground in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, emphasizing the importance of protecting the Palestinian people.
As for Hassan’s phone conversation with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, it addressed the serious deterioration of the region’s situation and the Israeli occupation’s attacks in Lebanon, condemned by both sides. (QNA)
