Khartoum, March 9, 2026 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Lt. Gen. Engineer Ibrahim Jabir affirmed that the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) are moving forward with determination to fulfil their national duty by defeating the rebellion and restoring security and stability across the country.During a meeting in Khartoum with Head of the Sudanese Revolutionary Awakening Council Sheikh Musa Hilal, the TSC Member stated that the current phase requires stronger internal cohesion and a heightened sense of national responsibility. He also commended Sheikh Musa Hilal for his role and contributions in supporting efforts aimed at safeguarding the unity and sovereignty of the country.Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Jabir offered condolences to the families of those killed in Mustariha area of North Darfur State, expressing his deepest sympathies to the victims’ families, wishing a swift recovery to the injured, and a safe return for those reported missing.For his part, Head of the Revolutionary Awakening Council Sheikh Musa Hilal renewed his forces’ readiness to operate under the command of the Sudanese Armed Forces and to participate in ongoing military operations across various fronts in support of the Battle of Dignity, until the nation’s full territory is restored.The meeting also reviewed developments in the country amid the current challenges, as well as military arrangements and the importance of field coordination to strengthen national efforts to confront the rebellion and continue operations aimed at purging the country of its remnants.BH/BH
