Baghdad, March 09 (QNA) – Telecommunications towers located near the district of Darbandikhan in Sulaymaniyah Governorate in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq were targeted in a drone attack.
A security source in Sulaymaniyah stated that the attack struck telecommunications towers positioned on mountain peaks across the governorate in northern Iraq, causing material damage without any reported casualties.
The source added that this marks the eighth such attack targeting telecommunications towers in the area in recent times. (QNA)
