Riyadh, March 10 (QNA) – Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense announced on Monday evening that it had intercepted a ballistic missile launched towards the Kingdom’s Eastern Region.
Major General Turki Al Maliki, the ministry’s official spokesperson, said air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed the missile before it reached its target.
Earlier in the day, the ministry also reported that nine drones heading towards the Shaybah oil field in the Empty Quarter had been intercepted and destroyed. (QNA)
