Riyadh, March 10 (QNA) – Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, condemned today, in the strongest possible terms, the blatant attack that targeted the Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates in Iraqi Kurdistan.
Albudaiwi emphasized that this nefarious attack constitutes a grave violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and represents a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and safety of diplomats and personnel serving at such missions.
He reiterated the GCC’s full support and solidarity with the UAE against this attack, reaffirming the Council’s unequivocal rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism that imperil security and stability in the region. (QNA)
