Baghdad, March 14 (Petra) – Two drones were shot down by air defences west of Baghdad, Iraqi security authorities announced Saturday evening.
A Baghdad police officer said the drones, which were carrying explosives, were targeting vital installations in the capital.
He added that air defence systems intercepted the drones, causing them to crash in the Abu Ghraib district west of Baghdad. No casualties were reported.
