Abu Dhabi, March 17 (QNA) – Emergency teams in the United Arab Emirates have contained a fire that broke out at a facility in the Shah oil field following a drone attack, authorities said on Tuesday.
In a statement carried by the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the Abu Dhabi Media Office said the blaze erupted at one of the installations at the Shah field after it was targeted by an unmanned aerial vehicle.
Specialized response teams were able to contain and extinguish the fire, the statement said, adding that no injuries were reported.
Operations at the site have been temporarily suspended while authorities assess the situation and take the necessary measures, officials said. (QNA)
