Amman, March 19 (Petra) — Total trading volume of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD10.3 million on Thursday, as 2.3 million shares were traded across 2,691 transactions.
The general share price index closed at 3,692 points, up 0.12 percent, compared with the previous session.
Of 88 listed companies traded, 40 recorded gains, while 22 others declined and the rest remained flat.
At the sectoral indices level, the industrial sector rose by 1.15 percent, while the services sector fell by 0.17 percent and the financial sector slipped by 0.05 percent, respectively.
