Baghdad, March 22 (QNA) – A security force had successfully found missile launchers from which attacks were mounted on the perimeter of Baghdad International Airport at dawn on Sunday, an Iraqi security source said.
The source added that the missile launchers had been mounted inside a civilian vehicle, suggesting that the projectiles were launched from Al-Jihad neighborhood in western Baghdad.
As such, the source pointed out, the security forces began taking the necessary measures at the scene and opened an investigation into this incident to identify those responsible for this attack, as well as the details of the launch operation. (QNA)
