Berlin, March 22 (QNA) – Germany expressed its support for the statement issued by the foreign ministers of the countries part of the Group of Seven (G7), which called for the immediate and unconditional cessation of Iranian attacks on neighboring countries and affirmed the G7’s support for its partners in the Middle East in facing these developments.
In a statement released Sunday, the German Foreign Ministry said that G7 foreign ministers condemned the “unjustified attacks” targeting the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, in addition to Jordan and Iraq, stressing the need to respect the sovereignty and security of these states.
The statement also reaffirmed the Group’s commitment to maintaining maritime security, especially in vital waterways, while emphasizing the importance of ensuring the free movement of commercial vessels and the safety of global supply chains. (QNA)
