Amman, March 30 (Petra) — Jordan on Monday strongly condemned Iranian attacks on Kuwait, which targeted a military camp and injured 10 members of the Kuwaiti armed forces, and a power station and a water desalination plant that killed an Indian national.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs stressed Jordan’s rejection and denunciation of the attacks as a flagrant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and stability.
The ministry reiterated Jordan’s full solidarity with Kuwait in countering the attacks, and its firm support for all measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and the safety of its citizens.
It also expressed its condolences to the victim’s family and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
