Amman, March 31 (Petra) –Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)– Arab Army announced Iran targeted the Kingdom’s territory with four missiles in the past 24 hours.
In a statement Tuesday, the JAF’s Military Media Directorate at the General Command confirmed the Royal Jordanian Air Force intercepted and “professionally” destroyed all four missiles.
In turn, the media spokesperson for Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced the relevant units responded to 17 reports of falling debris and projectiles in the past 24 hours.
The spokesperson noted no injuries resulted from these incidents, though some material damage occurred.
The spokesperson also warned against assembling, approaching, or tampering with any unfamiliar object or debris due to its potential dangers, calling for adhering to the advice and instructions issued by Jordan’s official authorities.
He urged the public to report any suspicious object to the security services via the emergency number 911.
Stressing the importance of adhering to instructions, he called for relying on information issued by official sources, and avoid circulating rumors and misleading news.
