Jeddah, March 31 (QNA) – The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned Israel’s approval of a law permitting the execution of Palestinian prisoners in its prisons.
In a statement Tuesday, the OIC described the move as a dangerous and unprecedented step that legalizes political killing and violates international humanitarian law, particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
The organization warned about ongoing abuses against Palestinian detainees, including torture, humiliation, starvation, and denial of basic rights, alongside continued violence in Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem. (QNA)
