Amman, April 2 (Petra) — Total trading volume on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) fell to JD12.7 million on Thursday, with 3.2 million shares traded through 2,980 transactions, as the benchmark index closed 0.16 percent lower at 3,637 points.
Of the 97 companies traded, 32 posted gains, while 30 recorded losses compared with their previous closing prices.
Sector indices all ended lower, with the services index down 0.46 percent, the industrial index off 0.14 percent, and the financial index slipping 0.03 percent.
