Khartoum, April 2, 2026 (SUNA) – Minister of Justice Dr. Abdullah Mohamed Dirif met on Thursday at his office with the General Manager of the Agricultural Bank of Sudan, Salah-Eddin Mohamed Abdel-Rahim, to discuss a range of legal and institutional issues facing the bank.The meeting reviewed key legal impediments confronting the bank’s operations, as well as its efforts to revise the Agricultural Bank of Sudan Act of 1957 in order to align it with evolving economic and social developments and to strengthen the role of the bank’s legal administration.For his part, the Minister of Justice pledged to remove the legal constraints facing the bank, reaffirming the ministry’s readiness to support legal and administrative reforms aimed at enhancing the bank’s institutional performance and operational efficiency.BH/BH
