Doha, April 02 (QNA) – Al Arabi and Al Duhail have qualified for the final of the Qatar Handball Cup after winning their semi-final matches on Thursday.
Al Arabi beat Al Sadd 31–28 to continue their strong run this season, having already secured the Federation Cup and the league title. They will now be aiming to complete a treble.
Al Duhail edged past Al Rayyan 24–23 to book their place in the final, as they seek to retain the title they won last season against Al Arabi.
Saturday’s final will be a repeat of last year’s decider, which saw Al Duhail defeat Al Arabi 30–26.
Elsewhere, in the Amir Cup qualifying rounds, Al Gharafa defeated Al Shamal 22–18 to set up a quarter-final clash with Al Ahli.
In another match, Qatar SC beat Al Khor 32–31 to advance to the quarter-finals, where they will face Al Duhail. (QNA)
