Singapore, April 05 (QNA) – The Qatar 3×3 basketball national team bid farewell to the FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup after a 17–20 defeat to China in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
Qatar had advanced to the knockout rounds after finishing second in Group D. The team opened its campaign with an important 16–11 win over India, showcasing disciplined defense and organized offense, before falling to New Zealand 11–21 in a tougher contest.
Meanwhile, China reached the quarterfinals from Group B. They lost their opening game to Malaysia 19–21, but bounced back with a 21–15 victory over Australia to secure their spot in the knockout stage. (QNA)
