Kuwait, April 05 (QNA) – Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense announced that over the past 24 hours, Armed Forces detected nine ballistic missiles, four cruise missiles, and 31 hostile drones in Kuwaiti airspace, all of which were intercepted according to established procedures.
Ministry’s official spokesperson, Colonel Saud Al Atwan, made the statement on Sunday during a media briefing on the current developments and operational events in light of Iranian attacks on Kuwait.
He added that the drone strikes targeted two power and water desalination stations, oil sector complex, several operational facilities of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, and one building within the Ministry Complex, causing significant material damage and multiple fires. All incidents were handled by the relevant authorities in accordance with approved procedures, with no casualties reported. (QNA)
