Amman, April 7 (Petra)– Total trading volume on the Amman Stock (ASE) Exchange reached JD9 million on Tuesday, as 2.4 million shares were traded through 2,570 transactions.
The general share price index closed at 3,656 points, marking a “slight” decline of 0.07 percent.
As for the sectoral performance, the services and industrial sectors dropped by 0.25% each, while the financial industry posted a gain of 0.06 percent.
Out of 91 listed companies traded, 27 recorded gains in share prices, while 35 others went down and the rest remain unchanged.
