Syria Reopens Airspace, Flights at Damascus Airport Resume

Amman, April 8 (Petra) — Syria said on Wednesday it reopened all air corridors and announced the resumption of air traffic through the country’s airspace.

Head of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Air Transport, Omar Hosari, quoted by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), said operations at Damascus International Airport resumed today, with flights arriving and departing regularly according to their schedules.

He said the airport is back to normal with the continuation of air services.
