Amman, April 8 (Petra) – The Lower House of Representatives , by a majority vote, passed the 2026 Education and Human Resources Development Law, consisting of 29 articles.
The lawmakers endorsed the bill after four consecutive sessions totaling approximately 12 hours, held over four days.
During a session held Wednesday, chaired by Speaker Mazen Qadi and attended by members of the government team, the House approved Articles 12 through 29 in deliberations that lasted nearly 3 hours.
The House had approved Articles 3 through 11 in a session held Tuesday, which lasted about 3:30 hrs.
On Monday, the MPs approved Article 2 in session that lasted approximately 3:40 hrs, while last Sunday the lawmakers greenlit Article 1 in a debate that took 3: 15 hrs.
