Amman, April 9 (Petra) — His Majesty King Abdullah II, during a phone call with Lebanon President Gen. Joseph Aoun on Thursday, underscored the need to halt Israeli aggression against Lebanon and the targeting of civilians.
His Majesty affirmed Jordan’s solidarity with Lebanon, highlighting the Kingdom’s commitment to bolstering Lebanon’s efforts to maintain its security and stability.
The King also stressed the importance of stepping up international efforts to put an end to the aggression against Lebanon, and to sustain de-escalation efforts following the United States-Iran ceasefire agreement.
For his part, the Lebanese president expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Majesty for his support for Lebanon and its people.
