Russia, Indonesia Leaders Hold Talks on Bilateral Cooperation, Int’l Affairs

Moscow, April 13 (QNA) – Russian President Vladimir Putin has held talks with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in Moscow, focusing on bilateral cooperation and wider international issues.

President Putin expressed confidence that the two countries would be able to maintain stable trade relations, particularly in the fields of economy and energy, adding that bilateral trade volumes could see growth by the end of 2026.

He said both sides were working to ensure a stable commercial environment that supports long-term economic cooperation.

For his part, President Prabowo said one of the key aims of his visit was to consult on the current geopolitical situation, stressing the importance for Indonesia to deepen discussions with Russia on energy cooperation.

He added that it was “very important” to hold joint consultations, discuss developments in the global situation, and explore priority areas of cooperation, particularly in the energy and economic sectors. (QNA)
