Amman, April 14 (Petra) – Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission (EMRC) received 960 license applications across various sectors during February.
The EMRC said 5 requests in the oil and petroleum products sector were rejected.
According to data published on the commission’s website on Tuesday, 202 applications targeted the Kingdom’s radiation and nuclear sector and 15 others went for the electricity and renewable energy industry.
Out of the total figure, 478 applications were directed at the natural resources sector, and 265 focused on the oil and petroleum products industry.
