Beirut, April 18 (QNA) – President of Lebanon Joseph Aoun held a phone call on Saturday with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss the latest developments following the announcement of a ceasefire in Lebanon and ongoing preparations to launch negotiations.
During the call, President Aoun expressed his appreciation for France’s continued support for Lebanon across various fields, as well as assistance provided to help alleviate the suffering of Lebanese people.
US President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that an agreement had been reached on a 10-day ceasefire between Lebanon and Israeli Occupation. (QNA)
