He affirmed the government’s commitment to facilitating the work of humanitarian organizations and removing obstacles, expressing hope for increased visits and enhanced cooperation in the coming period. For her part, Ms. Denise Brown expressed satisfaction with her third visit to the state, praising the strong cooperation from the state government and the Humanitarian Aid Commission, which she said supports humanitarian efforts and service delivery to those in need. The State Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid, Dr. Mohamed Ismail, said the visit is part of a series of field missions that began in March to assess the humanitarian situation of displaced persons. He noted that needs in shelters were reviewed alongside government efforts to provide services to affected families. He revealed that more than $10 million has been allocated to humanitarian organizations to implement vital projects, including water provision, shelter support, sanitation services, and cash assistance to affected families, adding that the delegation pledged to expand these projects in the coming period. He also expressed appreciation to the Federal Humanitarian Aid Commission for facilitating the work of humanitarian organizations and agencies to speed up the delivery of assistance to the state.BH/BH
