Khartoum, April 19, 2026 (SUNA) — Minister of Youth and Sports, Professor Ahmed Adam Ahmed, announced the commencement of maintenance and rehabilitation work on stadiums in the capital, Khartoum, with equipment and illumination expected to arrive within days. He confirmed that work has already begun at Khartoum Stadium, including structural repairs and essential facilities, alongside coordination with Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye to support reconstruction. The Minister also announced the second Youth Conference to be held in Kassala in June, aimed at unifying youth and sports policies across states.BH/BH
