KHARTOUM, May 14, 2026 (SUNA) – Minister of Youth and Sports Prof. Ahmed Adam announced the ministry’s adoption of the “National Sports Recovery Initiative through Intellectual Property,” launched by the Sudanese Intellectual Property Studies Center on World Intellectual Property Day. He directed the formation of a follow-up committee chaired by Dr. Abdel Hafiz Abdel Mokkram to coordinate implementation and achieve the initiative’s strategic goals. The minister praised the center’s role in promoting intellectual property culture and linking it to social development, describing the initiative as a national effort to use sports as a tool for recovery and sustainable development. The center’s Director of Development, Mohamed Abdel Rahman, said the initiative is ready for implementation under this year’s international theme, noting that its conference will be funded and supported by the private sector.BH/BH
