London, 16-5-2026 (SUNA) – The Prime Minister, Dr. Kamil Idris, met on Friday with the Head of the English-Arab Organisation, Mr. Nazmi Oji, as part of his ongoing visit to the United Kingdom, accompanied by a high-level ministerial, diplomatic, and security delegation. The Sudanese delegation included Minister of Culture, Information, Antiquities and Tourism Khalid Al-Eisir, the Special Representative of the Prime Minister Dr. Al-Hussein Al-Khalifa Al-Siddiq Al-Haffian, Deputy Director-General of the General Intelligence Service Lt. Gen. Abbas Mohamed Bakheet, as well as the Prime Minister’s Adviser Nizar Abdullah Mohamed, Director of Media at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Jamal Malik, Chargé d’Affaires at the Sudan Embassy in London Ambassador Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, and several members of the Sudanese mission in London. The meeting discussed the Sudanese government’s vision for achieving peace and stability, and ways to strengthen engagement with international and regional organisations in a manner that serves Sudan’s interests and supports stability and development efforts. The Sudanese delegation praised the significant role played by the English-Arab Organisation over recent years in highlighting Sudan’s issues, commending Mr. Nazmi Oji’s efforts in advocating Arab and Sudanese causes across various international forums.BH/BH
