Doha, May 17 (QNA) – The Ministry of Interior received a delegation from the Syrian Ministry of Interior to learn about Qatar’s experience in security and service sectors and to enhance security cooperation and the exchange of expertise between the Ministries of Interior of the State of Qatar and the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic.
The visit included tours to the Criminal Evidence and Information Department, the Criminal Investigation Department, the Airport Security Department, and the Economic and Cyber Crimes Department.
The delegation was briefed on the operational mechanisms, services provided, and the latest security applications, technologies, and systems adopted by these departments to support and enhance the efficiency of security operations.
This visit comes within the framework of supporting joint security cooperation and strengthening the exchange of expertise and experiences between the two sides in specialized security and technical fields. (QNA)
