Ministries Planning Coordination Council Reviews Updated Five-Year Strategic Plans

The Acting Secretary-General of the Higher Council for Strategic Planning, Mohamed Saeed Al-Samani, chaired a meeting of the Coordination Council of Planning Directors in federal ministries as part of preparations for the First Strategic Forum scheduled for next June under the patronage of Prime Minister Kamil Idris. The meeting reviewed progress in receiving updated five-year strategic plans for ministries covering the 2026–2030 period following their alignment with the post-war Sudan reconstruction plan, in addition to reviewing matrices for executive-sector systems, programmes, and projects. Participants stressed the importance of coordination and integration among ministries regarding joint projects and programmes to ensure more efficient allocation of resources. The meeting also underscored the need to provide technical support to ministries to ensure the timely preparation of the first draft of the unified strategic plan and meet the requirements of the reconstruction and recovery phase.BH/BH
