Port Sudan, May 20, 2026 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Nuwara Abu Mohamed Tahir met a delegation of the Al-Kemailab tribe headed by Abdulrahman Tahir Mohamed Abdel Gader, Paramount Chief of the Al- Al-Kemailab tribes. Abdulrahman said the meeting focused on consultations regarding the operation of the Haidob Port project and ways to maximize its benefits for citizens in the area and the state in general. He described the discussions as positive and expressed hope for constructive outcomes in the coming days that would serve the interests of the region. The tribal leader also voiced hopes for continued meetings in the future to ensure the region fully benefits from the port project, thanking Dr. Nuwara for hosting the delegation and for her interest in national and eastern Sudan issues in particular.BH/BH
