Doha, May 21 (QNA) – Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 0.63% at the start of Thursday’s trading, adding 64.93 points and rising to 10,417 points, compared to the close of the last session, backed by six sectors.
QSE figures showed positive performance in the Industrial sector, which rose by 0.92%, followed by the Transport sector by 0.84%, the Real Estate sector by 0.74%, the Banking and Financial Services sector by 0.36%, the Telecoms sector by 0.23% and the Consumer Goods and Services sector by 0.18%. In contrast, the Insurance sector recorded a negative performance, declining by 0.52%.
At 10:00 a.m, QSE recorded 3,390 transactions valued at QR 53.435 million, distributed across 25.713 million shares. (QNA)
