Port Sudan, May 21, 2023 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Nowara Abu Mohamed Tahir met on Thursday with a delegation of Habab tribal leadership headed by Nazir (Chieftain) Kentibai Hamid Kentibai Mahmoud, Nazir of Habab tribes. Speaking to the press, Nazir Kentibai said the meeting discussed a number of public and service-related issues of concern to citizens, foremost among them the Tokar Delta project and Aqiq Port. Nazir Kentibai commended Dr. Nowara’s efforts, her understanding of all issues, and her keenness to preserve the unity and cohesion of the people of eastern Sudan. The head of the Habab delegation reaffirmed the tribe’s support for and backing of the Sudanese Armed Forces in the Battle of Dignity until victory is achieved and the country is liberated from the rebel Rapid Support Forces militia.BH/BH
