Gaza, May 22 (QNA) – A Palestinian was martyred early Friday by Israeli occupation drone fire northwest of Rafah, as Israeli occupation forces continued artillery shelling and heavy gunfire across several areas in the southern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis reported receiving the body of a shepherd who was killed after an Israeli quadcopter drone opened fire in Al-Shakoush area near the Green Line northwest of Rafah.
In a related development, Israeli occupation artillery shelled eastern areas of Khan Younis and northern Rafah, while Israeli occupation military vehicles opened heavy fire on areas east and south of Khan Younis.
The Israeli occupation army also carried out two demolition operations northeast of Khan Younis overnight, as intensive artillery bombardment continued in the northern and eastern parts of the city. (QNA)
