Dollar Declines to Lowest Level in Week

Singapore, May 25 (QNA) – The dollar fell to its lowest level in a week in Asian trading on Monday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against a basket of six currencies, slipped 0.1% to 98.95, its weakest level since the May 18.

The dollar also weakened against the Japanese yen, falling 0.2% to 158.9 yen, while the euro rose 0.3% to $1.1636.

The British pound gained 0.3% to $1.3476, the Australian dollar climbed 0.5% to $0.7162, and the New Zealand dollar advanced 0.4% to $0.5869. (QNA)
