Omdurman, May 25, 2026 (SUNA)) — Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Lt. Gen. Engineer Ibrahim Jabir extended his condolences on the passing of prominent national artist Magzoub Onsa, who died earlier today following a tragic traffic accident on the “Al-Tahaddi” road. During a visit to the mourning house in Al-Hattana district in Omdurman, Jabir highlighted the virtues of the late artist, reviewing his significant national contribution in unifying Sudanese collective sentiment and promoting humanitarian and national values through his distinguished artistic work. The TSC member also praised the late artist’s patriotic positions, commending his strong support for the “Battle of Dignity” through activities at the Space Center. He further called for the documentation and archiving of all the late artist’s works and artistic productions, in recognition of his long-standing contributions and in appreciation of Sudanese creative figures and their role in the nation’s cultural journey.BH/BH
