Palestinian Girl Dies from Wounds Sustained in Israeli Strike on Southern Gaza

Gaza, May 26 (QNA) – A 15-year-old Palestinian girl has died from injuries sustained in an earlier Israeli strike on southern Gaza, according to medical sources.

The girl was wounded during an Israeli attack on a camp for displaced people in the Al Mawasi area west of Khan Younis on Monday. The strike had previously killed a woman and a child and injured dozens of others.

Medical sources also reported that four Palestinians were injured overnight in an Israeli strike targeting a residential block in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

According to health authorities in Gaza, the death toll from the Israeli offensive since October 7, 2023 has risen to 72,797, with 172,821 people reported injured. (QNA)
