Khartoum, June 22, 2026 (SUNA) — Minister of Youth and Sports Professor Ahmed Adam Ahmed met in his office on Monday with Engineer Ahmed Abdelhafiz, a software engineering expert based in Germany, as part of the Ministry’s efforts to draw on the expertise of Sudanese professionals abroad in the fields of digital transformation and the development of youth and sports activities. The meeting explored prospects for cooperation in digital transformation, the development of electronic systems, and the application of artificial intelligence technologies to enhance institutional efficiency and modernise services provided to young people and athletes. Professor Ahmed Adam underscored the importance of leveraging the expertise of Sudanese professionals abroad and transferring international experiences and best practices to support the Ministry’s plans to modernise the work environment and foster innovation among young people. For his part, Engineer Ahmed Abdelhafiz presented a number of proposals related to building the technological capacities of young people, developing digital platforms, and expanding training and capacity-building opportunities in modern technologies and artificial intelligence.BH/BH
