Central Bank Announces Completion of Integration Between Core Banking System and “Esali” Payment System

The Central Bank of Sudan (CBOS) confirmed the completion of integration between the Central Bank’s core banking system and the electronic payment system of the Ministry of Finance (Esali). Abu Bakr Al-Hussein, head of the information exchange team with the Ministry of Finance, said this represents an important step toward strengthening integration between the two sides, as data exchange has now become electronic, with real-time and secured access to key government account information. This supports and assists in more efficient resource management and enhances the speed and accuracy of information exchange. This achievement supports the Central Bank of Sudan’s direction toward strengthening digital transformation and developing government banking services in line with the best technological practices. At the conclusion, he expressed gratitude and appreciation to the technical team that exerted tremendous efforts and worked in a spirit of cooperation and responsibility until the completion of the required tasks.
