Khartoum, July 3, 2026 (SUNA) — Minister of Culture, Information, Antiquities and Tourism, Khalid Al-Eisir, has praised the national partnership between the Directorate of Military Museums, Exhibitions and History and Zadna International Investment Company to rehabilitate and modernize the Military Museum in Khartoum. The Minister described the project as a strategic initiative to preserve Sudan’s national memory and military heritage while strengthening national identity through documenting and showcasing the achievements and sacrifices of the Sudanese Armed Forces for future generations. In a post on his official Facebook account, Al-Eisir said he had the honor of attending the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding between the Directorate of Military Museums, Exhibitions and History and Zadna International Investment Company in Khartoum North on Thursday. He said the partnership marks an important step toward preserving the country’s historical memory and military heritage and presenting it in a manner befitting the sacrifices and heroism of the Sudanese Armed Forces. The Minister reaffirmed his Ministry’s commitment to supporting all initiatives aimed at safeguarding Sudan’s national heritage and strengthening the role of institutions responsible for preserving the country’s museums and military history, thereby reinforcing Sudanese national identity and enabling future generations to better understand the nation’s history. Al-Eisir also expressed appreciation to the Sudanese Armed Forces, particularly Deputy Chief of Staff for Administration, Lt. General Abdel Khair Abdalla Nasser; Managing Director of Zadna International Investment Company, Ali Askouri and all those who contributed to this national initiative that combines fidelity to history with aspirations for a brighter future for Sudan and its people.BH/BH
