Khartoum, July 3, 2026 (SUNA) — Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris has underscored the importance of the private sector’s role in driving economic development and reconstruction in Sudan. This came during his meeting on Friday in Khartoum with a delegation of business leaders headed by Ali Salah. The Prime Minister reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to involving the private sector in economic programmes and projects, as well as in supporting the voluntary return of Sudanese nationals from the diaspora. The business delegation reaffirmed the private sector’s commitment to cooperating with the Government of Hope, supporting its economic and social programmes, and contributing to the success of its national recovery and rehabilitation agenda.BH/BH
