The Sudanese Embassy in New Delhi, in cooperation with the Indian Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Agriculture, hosted a roundtable discussion on investment opportunities in Sudan’s pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, with the participation of government institutions and specialized Indian companies.Sudan’s Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, emphasized the importance of expanding health and pharmaceutical cooperation between Sudan and India, while Sudan’s Ambassador to India, Dr. Mohamed Abdullah Ali Al-Tom, called for developing domestic pharmaceutical manufacturing and attracting Indian investments.The roundtable concluded with an agreement to establish a joint platform for cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector between the two countries, under the supervision of the Indian Arab Chamber and the Sudanese Embassy.BH/BH
