Prime Minister Prof. Kamil Idris discussed development and public service issues in Al-Gezira State and the Central Region during a meeting with a delegation from the Sudan Shield Forces Support Committee, attended by the commander of the Sudan Shield Forces, Maj. Gen. Abu Agla Kaykal, and a number of government officials. The meeting addressed challenges facing agricultural projects, particularly issues related to financing for farmers and the provision of agricultural inputs. The participants also discussed a proposal to establish a reconstruction fund for war-affected areas, rehabilitate roads linking production areas with markets, and improve the education sector, including the appointment of teachers. The commander of the Sudan Shield Forces affirmed that military operations would continue, while the Prime Minister pledged to give priority to reconstruction and development in war-affected areas through a dedicated mechanism to ensure the swift implementation of projects.BH/BH
