Cairo, July 18 (QNA) – Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty discussed the latest regional developments amid the military escalation in the region during a phone call with US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff.
Abdelatty affirmed Egypt’s support for all efforts aimed at resolving the current crisis through dialogue and diplomatic means, welcoming the progress achieved through the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the United States and Iran.
During the call, the Egyptian Minister stressed the importance of adhering to the MoU and ensuring it represents a constructive step towards reducing tensions and enhancing security and stability in the region. (QNA)
