Tripoli, July 20 (QNA) – The State of Qatar chaired the 29th session of the General Assembly of the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (AIDSMO), convened in Tripoli, Libya.
The event was patronized by HE Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity of the State of Libya Abdul Hamid Mohammed Dbeibeh.
HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Libya Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Zabin Al Dosari represented the State of Qatar at the session in his capacity as chairman of this session.
The Assembly elected the State of Qatar’s candidate as Director General of AIDSMO, with the session featuring the launch of the Arab Industrial Indicators Platform.
Discussions were mostly focused on an array of matters related to boosting digital transformation, leveraging AI-powered technologies in the areas of industry, standardization, and mining, thereby helping support industrial development and economic integration among Arab nations. (QNA)
